In a direct care model the physician does not accept any insurance for the physician visits. This includes medicare. The physician accepts a smaller patient load in order to improve accessibility and to meet your ongoing needs. While discounted labs are available through the practice, all labs, medications, imaging studies etc go through insurance.
Your fee covers the services listed and the costs are transparent with direct care.

There is a possibility that commercial insurance will pay a part of your visits.
I recommend calling your insurance carrier to verify if you have this benefit. If you have this option, I can create a billing statement, which you can submit to your commercial insurance for potential reimbursement. I cannot directly submit any bills to your insurance as I do not accept insurance. You can use sites like reimbursify.com to facilitate this process.

I would advise patients with an HSA to contact their Health Plan administrator (usually Human Resource office) and/or accountant to ask if it is OK to use their HSA funds to pay the direct primary care monthly or annual fees. For FSA accounts, however, direct care does appear to be an eligible expense. I suggest you work with your Human Resource office to confirm that is the case, but you may refer them to the following rule. - Jun 10, 2020 Proposed rule announced: DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY Internal Revenue Service 26 CFR Part 1 [REG-109755-19] RIN 1545-BP31 Certain Medical Care Arrangements.

There are discounted labs provided through Liberty Endocrinology. We will review these at the time of your clinic visit. Imaging studies, medication prescriptions are ordered through your insurance coverage and pharmacy, similar to any other health care clinic. Labs not covered by our discounted services, or should you choose, can be processed through your insurance.
