About Dr. Aluri

I was born and raised in India. After completing medical school in India, I moved to USA to pursue residency at Rochester General Hospital , Rochester NY. While working as an attending in Internal medicine at Rochester General Hospital, I completed a Masters in clinical investigation program at the University of Rochester. I completed my fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Iowa in 2017 . I have served the population of Cedar Rapids and surrounding communities as an Endocrinologist with Unity Point Clinic, Cedar Rapids till 2023 summer before opening my practice in Coralville, Iowa.

Fun Facts

• I lived in Rochester NY for 6 years and got to visit Niagara Falls when it was "almost completely frozen". 

• I am happily married! I live with my husband, son and a fluffy, long haired dog. 

• I am trained in Indian classical dance and performed regularly until I moved to the US in 2007. I started learning the flute during the COVID pandemic and it has been a wonderful learning experience.
